Stara London is the new semi-precious gemstone jewellery collection from the team behind successful global jewellery brand, Estella Bartlett.

Nick Bartlett and his partner Sammy Noori share a passion for the beauty and individuality of semi-precious stones. They wanted to share this love by creating an affordable yet luxurious jewellery range which comes beautifully packaged to make the perfect gift.

Designed in London with hand-selected gemstones from Jaipur, Stara brings a modern twist to traditional design. The colours and cultural influences of their many trips to Jaipur can be felt in the jewellery. Drawing inspiration from the use of ancient astronomy within India’s dusky architecture, where buildings represent the positioning of the stars and hexagon shapes are used to cast light across the Pink City.

The name Stara was a perfect fit, being both the name Sammy’s mother is affectionately called by her friends, and a Swahili name meaning ‘protected and kept safe’, that Nick’s father remembered from his childhood in Africa.
